A Collaborative Pediatric Cancer Research Awards Program Grant Funding Opportunity in Pediatric Oncology

A Collaborative Pediatric Cancer Research Awards Program streamlines the grant process for researchers, reviewers, and organizations. It is like the Common Application that the Ivy League schools use.

Members include Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation/The Truth 365, Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, Batcole Foundation, Open Hands Overflowing Hearts, Luke Tatsu Johnson Foundation, and Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer, national nonprofit organizations dedicated to eliminating childhood cancer through innovative research in pediatric oncology.

Members of the Collaboration may choose to co-fund or individually fund a grant. Each organization provides its own funding for grants it selects to fund and will be recognized as the donor in publications. Rally is the administrator of the grants.

FAQS:

How do I determine which grant type to apply under?

To determine whether to apply as a fellow or young investigator, consider your position within the institution as of the start of the award period, July 1. Fellows in the last year of their fellowship may only apply for one year of funding. They may apply again the next year as a young investigator. Young investigators are up to five years post fellowship and independent investigators are more than five years post fellowship. A consortium is three or more institutions collaborating on the proposed research project with one lead institution housing the principal investigator.

Is there a limit on the number of Letters of Intent that an institution or principal investigator may submit?
