Funding Vital Research

The primary mission of Arms Wide Open is to fund less toxic therapies for children with cancer so they can have a better quality of life as they battle the disease.

Since its inception 13 years ago, AWOCCF has funded over 90 research grants, which has provided children with cancer alternative treatment options in hospitals throughout the US and Canada.

Supporting Families

  • Providing monthly grants to families suffering hardship due to their child’s cancer diagnosis.

  • Hosts Helping Hands, a crowd-funding platform that allows childhood cancer families to raise funds without paying credit card and platform fees.

  • Hosts annual bereavement retreats and online workshops for families who have lost a child to cancer.

"As a childhood cancer advocate for the past 7 years, I can attest that children with cancer and their families have benefitted greatly from Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation's programs and vision. I have worked with them to lobby Congress to pass legislation that is vital to obtaining research funds for pediatric cancers and funding to help survivors."

~ Joe Baber, grandparent to childhood cancer survivor Nicholas
